Paul Brady was appointed Market Oversight Counsel at Lloyd’s in November 2023 responsible for advising on and implementing strategies to respond to high impact and emerging oversight issues that may impact the Lloyd’s market.
Paul’s previous senior roles at Lloyd’s include being Head of Policyholder & Third Party Oversight where he was responsible for delegated underwriting, claims, complaints and customer outcomes and Head of Market Conduct where he oversaw the implementation of Lloyd’s Conduct Standards.
Before that Paul was in-house counsel at Lloyd’s responsible for advising on delegated underwriting, intermediary regulation and corporate governance. He was also formerly the LMG market sponsor for Delegated Authority modernisation.
Paul is a qualified solicitor having graduated in law in 1993 from Oxford University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He was appointed a director of the MGAA in March 2024.
