We want to ensure all MGAA members continue to receive our latest updates, event invitations, and key communications without interruption. Recently, we’ve become aware that some emails have been caught in spam filters or quarantined by company firewalls.
What You Need to Do
To make sure you don’t miss any important information, please ask your IT team to whitelist the MGAA email domain: mgaa.co.uk
Why This Matters
There have been instances where essential communications — including event details, regulatory updates, and membership information — have been delivered but held in quarantine. This means some members may not be receiving key updates intended for them.
How to Stay Connected
- Check your spam folder
If you haven’t received MGAA emails recently, please check these folders and mark our emails as “safe.” - Ask your IT team to check the quarantine folder and allowlist the MGAA domain as well as Hubspot’s sending IPs
Allowlisting ‘mgaa.co.uk’ plus our Hubspot sending IPs (see full list below), ensures MGAA emails can pass through your organisation’s firewall without being blocked or sent to quarantine. - Keep your Primary Contact details up to date
If you are the Primary Contact for your organisation, please ensure we have the correct email address on file.
If colleagues report missing MGAA emails
If someone in your organisation contacts you because they haven’t received MGAA emails, you may wish to share the following guidance:
- Check their spam or junk folder
If MGAA emails are found there, they should move them back into their inbox. - If using Gmail, check the Promotions tab
Dragging MGAA emails into the “Primary” tab ensures future messages appear there - If the email is not found anywhere
It may have been quarantined by your IT system.
Please provide your IT team with:-
- the subject line
- the sender address
- the delivery date and timestamp
-
This will help them locate and release the message.
For those experiencing repeated issues
They should also:
- Add our “From” address to their email address book.
- Open previous MGAA emails and click links, which helps email providers recognise messages as safe.
- Ask their IT team to add MGAA’s sending IPs and email-sending domain to an allowlist.
Additional Steps: Ensuring HubSpot Emails Are Delivered
Some of our communications are delivered via HubSpot. To ensure full deliverability, please ask your IT team to allowlist HubSpot’s sending IP ranges:
