In this briefing, Broadstone will provide an overview of widely available AI tools and share their experiences with integrating them into their working environment.
They will also conduct a live demonstration of AI in action, showcasing how these tools can be used to create bespoke solutions for data cleansing, calculations, and reporting.

About the Presenters
Bharat Raj FIA, Head of London Markets
Bharat has over 20 years of experience as a non-life actuary and has experience of technical pricing, rating model development, portfolio and profitability analysis, integration of pricing and underwriting workflows, actuarial reserving, exposure management, Solvency II and IFRS 17. He joined Broadstone in January 2024, prior to that, he spent nine years at Grant Thornton. He has also previously held actuarial roles at ACE (now Chubb), Liberty Mutual, Towers Perrin (now WTW), RSA and Bank Negara Malaysia.
Bharat is a Fellow of the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries, and obtained a B.Sc. First Class Honours from the London School of Economics and a M.Sc. with Distinction from the Bayes Business School.
Greig Bingham, Head of Financial Modelling
Greig is an experienced financial modelling expert and has over 15 years of insurance industry experience.
He is a member of Broadstone’s AI council and has led several AI implementation projects for Broadstone.
He leads a team of experienced developers covering a wide range of programming languages and platforms including Python, R, Power BI, Mo.net, VBA and SQL.
Greig has supported his clients with process transformation, technology integration project, Solvency II and IFRS 17 solution development
He joined OAC (acquired by Broadstone in 2023) in 2011, prior to that he has also worked at Prudential, Buck (now Gallagher) and HSBC Life. He also has a B.Sc. in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics from Herriot-Watt University.
