AmTrust International is part of AmTrust Financial Services, a multinational property and casualty insurance holding company headquartered in New York.We are a truly global business with over 6,000 colleagues in more than 30 countries.

AmTrust International Specialty focuses on five core product offerings, backed by a strong local presence and expertise in target markets:

• Warranty – Including mobile phone and electrical device, motor, plant and machinery, and boiler cover; also extends to associated affinity products such as card protection, GAP insurance, etc.
• Legal Expenses Insurance – Both Before the Event and After the Event coverages.
• Professional Indemnity (PI) – For selected professions.
• Property – Predominantly commercial SME, caravan insurance, and landlords’ cover (residential let).
• Mortgage and Credit – Mortgage indemnity insurance including structured finance solutions for banks, and creditor protection and PPI.

We also have appetite for Travel risks in certain niche areas.

Our Close Relationship with MGAs

We operate predominantly using a delegated underwriting model with selected coverholder MGAs.

While we currently operate in a relatively narrow set of clearly defined product areas (as set out above), we are always open to expanding our appetite into other underserved niche lines where we can bring our underwriting expertise, global leverage, and strength to write profitable and sustainable business.
