London, UK, 23 February 2026 – The Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA) today welcomes Manveen Twohill as its new Learning & Development Manager, reinforcing its commitment to education, professional development and knowledge sharing across the fast growing MGA community.

Manveen joined the MGAA from Gallagher Re, where she served as Learning & Development Global Partner and Instructional Designer, designing and delivering innovative learning programmes for insurance and reinsurance professionals worldwide.

In her new role, Manveen will lead the MGAA’s Programme of Learning and Insights (POLI) –  the association’s refreshed learning and engagement programme for 2026, bringing together a  series of in-person and online sessions designed to educate, inform and connect the market through timely conversations on the issues that matter most to MGAs and their businesses.

Manveen will also take a leading role in engaging a segment of MGAA members, ensuring these businesses fully leverage their membership to support their strategic objectives.

As part of the expanded programme, Manveen will support and coordinate the introduction of Professional Optics (evolving the MGAA’s Market Briefings) aligned with the CII Professional Map Competency Framework, alongside new Learning (Technical) Insights and the launch of a Compass Spotlight Programme focused on key points in the market calendar, including the January reinsurance renewals.

The MGAA will also expand and enhance its Technical Library, providing members with practical business templates, sample wordings and contracts to further strengthen professional standards across the sector.

Julia Coakley, COO of the MGAA, said: “The MGAA’s learning programme is one of the most valued and distinctive services we provide to our members. As the MGA community continues to grow and evolve, we are committed to listening closely to what our members need and responding with practical, high-quality learning that supports professionalism, technical excellence and best practice. Manveen’s appointment is an important step forward as we expand our Programme of Learning and Insights for 2026, working with MGAs, insurers, brokers and supplier partners to deliver an ambitious year of knowledge sharing and market-leading education.”

Manveen Twohill, Learning & Development Manager at the MGAA, said: “What makes the MGAA so unique is the strength of its community and the willingness across the market to share expertise and raise standards together. The opportunity to build on that through an expanded programme of learning, technical insight and member-led discussion is incredibly exciting. I’m looking forward to working with members and partners to deliver learning that is relevant, engaging and genuinely valuable in helping the sector thrive.”
