MGAA TechZone: A Strong Start for a New Chapter in MGA Innovation

The 2025 MGAA Conference marked an exciting first with the introduction of the TechZone, a new dedicated space for technology-focused suppliers, proudly sponsored by Open GI. Located on the mezzanine level, the TechZone brought together a vibrant mix of start-ups, scale-ups, and established tech providers, creating a valuable opportunity for MGAs to explore the digital tools and partnerships shaping the future of our sector.

Designed to support the conference theme, “Navigating a Bright Future,” the TechZone offered a blend of exhibition stands, breakout sessions, and networking areas, all focused on practical innovation. With limited spaces available, it gave tech suppliers a concentrated platform to connect directly with MGAs and showcase how technology can support growth, compliance, and efficiency.

One of the key messages throughout was that digital transformation doesn’t have to mean major disruption. Many suppliers offered clear roadmaps, early ROI models and straightforward starting points – demonstrating that meaningful change is well within reach. Whether through smarter data use, improved operational processes, or faster product launches, the solutions on display reflected the real-world needs of MGAs.

Standout sessions included Novidea’s question, “MGAs: Thriving or Surviving?”, Dynarisk’s cyber insurance insights, and Scrub AI’s tools for automating SOV and bordereaux processing. From automating finance (Render) to enhancing data and connectivity (LexisNexis, Markit Systems, REG Technologies), the content was practical, relevant and engaging.

As the first TechZone, it was a strong foundation to build on. With improved signposting, even more curated content, and further opportunities for engagement, the platform can only grow stronger. We’re excited to see how the TechZone evolves and continues to support innovation across the MGA community in the years ahead.
