Next Gen Insights Series

Blog Next Gen

2nd May 2024

The Committee launched the first session in their Insights Series, which aims to delve into different topics the next generation are interested in. The first session, hosted by Next Gen’s sponsor AXA XL, dove into the world of War and Terrorism insurance. It brought together specialist underwriters who spoke about their personal experiences surrounding their classes, their unique stories entertained, whilst their passion really ignited the minds of everyone in the room.

If you would like to host a Next Gen Insights Series on your specialism, whether it be a class of business, particulars around claims handling or your unique value in the MGA chain, please reach out to the Committee on nextgen@mgaa.co.uk or drop us a linkedin message.

Quote from Chair Kaj ‘Working in a small team covering your own niche class(es) of business is great, however our market is full of niches. The rate at which the MGA market is expanding is truly thrilling! Coming from a small MGA, I always wanted to hear more about other classes, how were they doing things differently, why were they passionate about their particular niche and what were their inside stories, our Insights Series does just that and I’m excited to see it grow!’
