25th September 2025 • 8.30 - 10.30

About the session

Join Browne Jacobson and the University of Nottingham to discuss the research report, “ESG and Sustainability: Rethinking Communications and Credibility”.

  • How can fast-moving organisations address competing forces to achieve their objectives on sustainability?
  • Where might insurance firms stand relative to their peers, to supply and value chains, including policyholders in the wider economy?
  • What language should insurance firms use internally and externally – and look for from their supply / value chains – to address ESG more effectively?

At this event, the presenters will provide answers to these questions and discuss how to navigate current challenges to bring more effective sustainability and diversity to organisations, including via operating and governance models.

The session will include a presentation of the findings of the 2024-2025 research project, where Browne Jacobson have supported a national survey, run by Professor Louise Mullany and Dr Victoria Howard at the University of Nottingham, into organisational approaches to sustainability and diversity. The findings include insights from across the UK economy, including education, energy, financial services, health, IT, logistics, manufacturing and professional services.
