Bruce Whitmee

CEO • AmTrust Specialty Limited

Bruce Whitmee is CEO of AmTrust Specialty Limited part of the AmTrust International group of companies. Bruce also retains his previous CUO title for the London based insurance company.

Bruce has almost 30 years in the insurance industry working in various senior management roles across the globe. He was with Domestic & General for 7 years working in Europe, before moving to AIG where he worked for 14 years in Europe, Australasia and EMEA regions heading up Underwriting teams focused predominantly on Warranty, Affinity and Personal Property.

Bruce joined ANV in 2015 as Active Underwriter for the Lloyd’s syndicate 5820 specializing in Consumer Products, Trade Credit and Political Risk. ANV was acquired by AmTrust in November 2016.
