Scaling the Modern MGA With Unified Operations

MGAs Operational Underwriting

Online

22nd July 2026 • 13.00 - 14.00

About this session

MGAs are under pressure to scale efficiently, improve underwriting performance, satisfy capacity partners, and make better use of AI. But fragmented data across workflows often limits what the business can see, control, and improve.

This session challenges four common myths about disconnected systems, data unification, and AI. We will explore why fragmentation is more than an efficiency problem, why a PAS alone is not always a complete source of truth, why AI depends on connected and trusted data, and why unification does not have to mean full system replacement.

Delegates will leave with a practical view of how connected operations can support stronger underwriting insight, better portfolio visibility, more confident capacity reporting, and realistic AI use cases.

Learning Objectives

  • Explain how disconnected systems limit underwriting insight, portfolio visibility, and operational control.
  • Distinguish between a core PAS and a genuinely connected MGA operating model.
  • Identify the data foundations needed for practical, AI-enabled MGA use cases.
  • Evaluate approaches to unifying operations without assuming full system replacement.
