Alistair works at Pen Underwriting, managing their Strategy and Corporate Development division. His responsibilities include delivering mergers and acquisitions, innovation, geographic expansion and generally driving Pen towards their strategic ambitions.

Since joining in 2022, Alistair has integrated into the company’s strong I&D and charity network, where he deputises the Charity committee having previously led the Multi-Ethnic and Racial Alliance efforts. Alistair has accumulated seven years of experience in the insurance industry, undertaking various roles including broking, development, and working in start-ups. Prior to this, he spent time in economic research, including a focus on competition policy. Alistair holds a masters degree in economics.

Alistair is highly motivated by the opportunity to represent young professionals by his work in the Next Gen and believes that the MGAA are well positioned to play a crucial role in shaping the future of the MGA market.
