Thomas works as an Assistant Underwriter in the Green Solutions team at Munich Re Specialty, where he focuses on providing renewable energy solutions to clients.

Previously he worked at Sompo as an Underwriting Assistant and has been in the insurance industry since 2021. He holds a 1st class Economics degree from Queen Mary University, London.

In 2025, Thomas won the Rising Star of the Year award from London Market Forums and was shortlisted for the MGAA Rising Star award.

He joined the Next Gen MGAA committee in 2024, as Co-Lead of learning and development as he wants to support the next generation of the MGAA to have access to high quality development opportunities. As of 2025 he is involved in the mentoring programme and looks forward to contributing to the exciting pipeline of events ahead in the committee.
