Away from the committee, Zara works at Rokstone Underwriting where she heads the Outward Reinsurance Claims function. With over 10 years’ industry experience, Zara has built a deep understanding of high value claims, recovery strategy and the operational discipline needed to keep complex programmes moving. She began her career in insurance shortly after completing her Law degree, having always had an interest in financial services and risk management.

Zara is known for her clear communication, calm leadership and commercial approach to claims management. She partners closely with brokers, capacity providers and internal stakeholders to drive timely outcomes. She is passionate about people, upcoming talent, and enjoys engaging in thought leadership discussions across the reinsurance and MGA community.
