The CBAA Model Wording Key Guidance – M6 & M8 Recordings

Thank you to all those who attended the deep dives for Module 6 – Remunerations and Module 8 – Claims, the recordings are now available on lmadare.co – 2024/2025.

As those who attended the M6 session live will know an updated version of ‘M6 – All Variations’ and 2 updated examples have now been uploaded onto the website and were the versions I walked through during the deep dive. These updated versions provide more flexibility and appropriately incorporate feedback from the 2024 consultation on this module.

A further point to note is that following the M6 deep dive a slight tweak was made to the variants for percentage point remuneration by adding in the ability to remunerate using a ‘fixed amount per policy’ – this is applicable to Coverholder & Producing Intermediary Commission as well as Brokerage and it provides greater flexibility. Therefore, the version on the recording will be ever so slightly different to the version on the website but this doesn’t really change any of the points covered in the recording so if you didn’t attend live, we highly recommend watching before your review.

Please be reminded that we strongly advise you read the Modules in order after attending the relevant session or watching a recording of it.

Note M4 will be the last deep dive and should be read at the end.
