We are requesting this data to allow us to authoritatively represent the MGA community for several crucial reasons.

Firstly, comprehensive membership data allows the MGAA to accurately assess the size, demographics, and interests of the MGA community, enabling us to tailor our services, events, and advocacy efforts to better suit the needs and preferences of our members. Secondly, such data facilitates effective communication and engagement with our members, ensuring that important information, updates, and opportunities reach the intended audience efficiently. Finally, by maintaining a database of members, we can demonstrate the strength and diversity of the MGA community to stakeholders, including policymakers, sponsors, and industry partners, thereby enhancing the organisation’s credibility and influence within the wider insurance sector.

As the Managing General Agents’ Association, our mission is to wholeheartedly represent our members within the UK and Republic of Ireland MGA Community with expertise, knowledge, enthusiasm, and relevance. In order to accurately represent the MGA Community and understand the make-up of our membership, it is important that we gather data that reflects financial and operational trading activities.
